HM The King Mohammed VI receives Egyptian foreign minister

Fez - HM King Mohammed VI received, on Friday at Fez Royal Palace, Egyptian foreign minister Sameh Choukri who conveyed to the sovereign a message of brotherhood, cordiality and friendship from his brother, His Excellency Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi, president of the Arab Republic of Egypt, said a statement from the royal office.



On this occasion, Sameh Choukri conveyed to HM the King an invitation from His Excellency President Al-Sissi to pay an official visit to Egypt.


During this audience, emphasis was laid on the shared will by both countries to promote bilateral ties in all areas and revive the High Joint Committee which is chaired by the leaders of the two countries, said the statement.


In this regard, HM the King gave his instructions to the cabinet to ensure the success of the upcoming High Joint Committee, mainly through elaborating joint programs and partnership agreements including the public, semi-public and private sectors in the interest of the two brotherly peoples and countries, it added.


The audience was attended by foreign minister Salaheddine Mezouar and Egypt's ambassador in Rabat Ahmed Ehab Gamal Eldin.
