Rabat - Morocco and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) signed, on Friday in Rabat, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to reinforce cooperation in the field of water management.
Under the agreement, the two countries engage to cooperate for better water management through the exchange of know-how.
The agreement was signed by Morocco’s Minister Delegate in Charge of Water Charafat Afilal and Saudi Minister for Water and Electricity Abdullah Bin Abdulrahman Al Hussein.
Speaking on this occasion, Afilal highlighted the close ties linking Morocco to Saudi Arabia, adding that the sector of water is part of the fields which offer significant cooperation prospects.
Afilal added that Morocco is willing to share with Saudi Arabia its significant experience in terms of dam building and water infrastructure.
